Active Missionaries
Pamela Rice
Pamela Rice joined the KSOH board in February 2022, although she has been praying for and enthusiastically watching God work through the ministry of Osiligi Center since its inception. Kenya has a special place in Pamela's heart. In 2001 and 2002, Pamela served the Samburu and Rendille people in northern Kenya for a little over a year. During that time, she worked in women's ministry and on various development projects, such as the digging of wells and managing a microgrant program to help small groups of women start businesses. The following year, she returned to East Africa to work on a training program for women leaders in the church in East Africa as part of her master's degree in Christian Outreach from Concordia University, St. Paul. Currently, Pamela works for the National Park Service and lives in southern Colorado with her husband, Kevin. She was blessed to help raise two stepdaughters and considers herself their biggest cheerleader as they establish their own careers.
